Jean has had more than 20 years’ experience as a Psychologist in the field of Child and Youth Mental Health, after graduating with B SC (Hons) from The University of Queensland and later completed a M. Med. Sci. degree through the UQ Department of Psychiatry. My professional experience included clinical work with children and teenagers with problems such as anxiety, depression, psychosis, eating disorders, and those with the psychosocial dysfunction and traumatic events which place them at risk of the later development of various mental health disorders. The work included the development of parenting skills and Family Therapy with the parents and families of clients.  She was also involved in staff training and supervision, service development, and management.

 

Jean also served in fulltime Christian ministry for 11 years, along with her husband who was a Pastor and Christian School Principal. She led Women’s Ministry, Creative Ministry (Dance and Drama) led worship, teaching and speaking, organized Conferences and retreats, and engaged in pastoral counselling and prayer ministry.

Jean has now retired, coordinating the Bribie Wholeness Centre, offering counselling and prayer ministry on a voluntary capacity.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Margaret has over 20 years experience in pastoral care/counselling.

 

Margaret has a special interest in personal growth and relationship growth especially family relationships. She has a heart to walk with people through tough seasons in life and seeks to provide a caring, safe and non judgemental environment in which to do so.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Carol is trained teacher having graduated from Kelvin Grove Teacher’s College in 1964. She has been involved in prayer ministry for over 25 years such as altar rail ministry, intercession and private prayer ministry using Elijah House principles and teaching. Carol completed the Elijah House Ministry Course in 1983 and has since been actively involved with Elijah House Australia as a ministry group and  course leader, having travelled both interstate and intrastate on many occasions. 

Previously Carol has gained experience in Healing Rooms Australia and leading and training others in Sozo, Immanuel Approach Ministry and course related to healing and synchronising broken hearts.

 

Carol has a heart to see others walking in wholeness and in closer relationship with Father God, Jesus and Holy Spirit.  To see the church become the pure empowered bride of Christ.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Liz holds a Bachelor of Arts (1981) and a Master of Counselling (2009), and has also undertaken training in Healing Rooms Australia (2009), Hope Alice Grace Counselling - Post Abortion (2011), Elijah House, as well as Immanuel and Heartsync.

Liz has worked in Healing Rooms across South East Qld and Bribie Wholeness Centre.  She currently attends Vineyard Christian Fellowship and is involved in the Children's Ministry.

 

 

 

 

 

Vicki has worked in Federal Government for a 11 year period as a social worker; meeting the needs of vulnerable persons - Crisis Intervention, Counselling, and providing appropriate agency referrals.  During this time, Vicki assisted people of various cultures, people who were disabled, persons experiencing mental health, the homeless, persons living in poverty, child abuse and victims/perpetrators of domestic and family violence.  Vicki has also competed a Masters in Couple and Relationship Counselling, and has completed Elijah House Training.

Vicki attends Freedom church and is involved in both Pulpit and Altar ministry and also coordinates Freedom Women.

Vicki has a passion for prayer counselling with the main aim of seeing people set free and healed through the Holy Spirit and grow in their knowledge and understanding of God.

 

 

 

 

 

Helen has seen God bring breakthrough to her life in many ways during periods of mental and emotional distress.

She has had training in all aspects of prayer ministry.

God has commissioned Helen with Isaiah 61, and her desire is to help people bring Jesus into their pain, and so be healed.  

Helen also runs the card making class.  

Athenia is our very capable and sympathetic receptionist.  When you ring for an appointment, this is who you will be talking to.
